Shelton’s Bus Service was established in 1938 by Harry Shelton to provide taxi service from Dungog to the Barrington Guest House. The business soon grew and Harry employed his two son’s Noel and Doug to help with the running of the business. Still to this day Shelton’s Bus Service is a family business with owners Guy and Christy Shelton and are proud to be in its fourth generation of operation now with their children Emily and Jacob involved in the business.
A lot has changed since 1938, Shelton’s Bus Service now consists of a fleet of 18 vehicles that provides a high-quality school bus to the Dungog and surrounding areas of the beautiful Barrington top and the Hunter Valley. In December 2012 Shelton’s Bus Service reached an all-time high with the opening of its brand new purpose built bus depot. We are very lucky to have over 20 wonderful employees that help us to maintain our high-quality service, and with our new state of the art facilities, Shelton’s Bus Service will continue to grow and provide safe reliable and consistently high standards in all aspects of our operations.
